Bone White is the default color and our recommended option for painting. Its light, neutral surface provides an excellent base for adding skin tones, clothing colors, shadows, weathering, aging, or other custom details.

Premium Metallic Finishes

For a richer decorative appearance without detailed painting, choose one of our specialty metallic finishes:

• Copper

• Gold

• Metallic Gray

Premium metallic colors are produced using a higher-cost specialty PLA with reflective pigments that create a decorative metallic-style appearance.

Premium Metallic Finishes add:

• $6 to the Standard 9-inch shelf

• $11 to the Large 13-inch shelf

These finishes create the appearance of metal, but the shelf remains a lightweight 3D-printed PLA product and is not made from metal.

The Bone White option can be customized using:

• Acrylic paint markers

• Acrylic paints and traditional brushes

• Airbrush paints suitable for plastic surfaces

For the best results, apply several thin layers of paint and allow each layer to dry before adding more color or detail. A clear protective topcoat formulated for plastic may be applied after painting if desired.

About Our 3D-Printed Products
